Psychedelic Assisted Therapy

Though still illegal outside of FDS-approved clinical trials, psychedelic medicines such as psilocybin or magic mushrooms, MDMA, ayahuasca, LSD, and others are demonstrating efficacy in helping participants to overcome a wide range of mental health issues from substance abuse to PTSD and treatment resistant depression. Currently, Ketamine is the only psychedelic approved for mental health treatment and must be administered in an approved clinic by a doctor or psychiatrist.

Clearly, these limits on psychedelic medicine make it difficult, if not impossible, for the average person to participate in their benefits. As a licensed therapist, I myself am expressly prohibited from endorsing use of these medicines outside of the aforementioned settings. However, many individuals still choose to partake these substances on their own, and often outside of a safe and supportive setting, consequently diminishing the potential therapeutic effects of the medicines.

As a certified Ketamine-assisted psychotherapist and having obtained a post-graduate certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies, I am trained in offering psychedelic integration to those who have taken psychedelic medicines and desire assistance in making sense of what is often a confusing and ineffable experience.

Should you desire information on these services or further information regarding the safety and/or efficacy of these medicines, please feel welcome to contact me at your convenience.
